Founded in 2017, the firm has completed transactions for clients in the United States, Asia and Europe. Our name refers to the seventh layer of the OSI model, the application layer, where people and computers interact. Our bankers began their careers covering the physical layer of data centers and fiber networks, and today advise companies across every layer of the technology stack.
Senior-led execution
Every engagement is led by the firm’s senior bankers, who average more than two decades in investment banking. The same team remains involved throughout, from preparation and valuation through negotiation and close.
Sector depth
Our practice is concentrated in six sectors of the digital economy, from digital infrastructure and communication services to managed IT services, software and AI. Our senior bankers have covered these markets for most of their careers, at firms including Merrill Lynch, Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse First Boston and The Bank Street Group.
