Layer 7 Capital welcomes Jon Vanden Heuvel to its team

November 12, 2024. Layer 7 Capital welcomes Jon Vanden Heuvel as a new Managing Director. Vanden Heuvel brings 30 years of experience in investment banking, focusing on digital infrastructure, telecommunications and IT services. Vanden Heuvel started his career in finance with Credit Suisse First Boston in 1996 then moved to London to join Wit Soundview in telecommunications equity research. In 2005, he returned to the United States and joined The Bank Street Group, where he worked until May 2024.  

Vanden Heuvel’s investment banking work has been primarily mergers and acquisitions advisory, and raising growth capital, both equity and debt, for companies in digital infrastructure, telecommunications and IT services. 

Prior to investment banking, Vanden Heuvel worked as research assistant to Dr. Henry Kissinger.  He holds a PhD degree from Columbia University.
